Destination: Tsomgo Lake (12,400ft) and 34kms from Gangtok
Duration: Depends on the weather but normally 3hrs
Trip Description: After a hearty breakfast starts the tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400ft, 34km). The lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50ft deep. Here you can witness snow, snowfall (if you’re lucky) & Yak Riding. Visit to the legendary Baba Mandir.
NATHULA PASS TOUR INCLUDED (The Indo-China border) depends upon the availability of permit (Monday the pass is closed).
Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Gangtok to Pelling via Namchi & Ravangla
Description of the tour: After breakfast proceed towards Namchi and visit Samdruptse, Siddheswar Dham (replica of Char-Dham) & visit Buddha park at Ravangla and after that transfer to Pelling (7,200 ft, 115 km).
Overnight stay at Pelling.
Sightseeing at Pelling and its nearby attractions
Description of the tour: After breakfast start for a full day sightseeing. Visit Darap Village, Rimbi Water Falls, Kanchenjunga falls, Khecheopalri Lake (it is one of the sacred Buddhist lakes and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true).
visit Skywalk, Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Palace Ruins.
Overnight stay at Pelling.
Darjeeling Sightseeing Pickup and Drop from the hotel
Starting time: Early morning (if you are to see the sunrise)
Destination: Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and others.
Description of the tour: Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 meters at around 4 AM) to see the sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.
After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person and is closed on 19th of every month) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Dropping at the NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport
Drop to NJP/ Bagdogra Airport according to the schedule.
